The U.S. administration wants to pass a Democratic health care plan. In the U.S. there are 46 million uninsured. The quality indicators, life expectancy and infant mortality in this country get behind many others with fewer economic resources. Meanwhile, the ruling hardliners and Republican Party, supported by economic interest groups have declared war Health Plan. Obama is a war orchestrated by organizations like the Heritage Foundation that dictate what the stars of conservative radio and TV say.
In this program we analyze the logic of each of the disputing parties and the motivations of each side. Although the difference is clear. On one side is a group willing to sacrifice so that all realize the benefits and the other a group that already has benefits but is not willing to give up anything that others have. Sad but true.
On April 15 more than half a million Americans took to the streets to express their discontent with the policy direction initiated by the new Obama administration. The celebration of Tea (Tea Parties) refer to the Boston Tea Party in Boston in 1773, one of the triggers episodes of the War of Independence of the USA. The Texas Governor Rick Perry Republican, led the largest concentration of its state. After the event, and a clear reference to the Obama administration, Gov. Perry came to mention the secession of Texas as a future risk to the federal government's increasing interference in state affairs.
The protesters accused the new president to cement the destruction of the country in economic, socio-political and spiritual. These events have had extensive coverage in the U.S., primarily by television and radio on the Fox and its affiliates have been the main promoters of the protests. Interestingly, international media have barely covered the topic. There was weekly online and here we experience them.
